We are working hard in our class!

In our class we have been learning about money. We practiced using money by playing shop in our classroom. WE were learning about how to give change. We have also been learning about length. We have been finding different ways to measure objects in the class - using cubes, our hands and lollipop sticks.

In Science, we have been learning about electricity. We experimented with balloons to make static electricity and we also made electrical circuits. We talked about sources of electricity, safety at home and also which items in our houses use electricity. 

Sometimes we need a movement break, so we do 'movetolearn' dances and movements!

In Geography we have been learning the counties of Ireland - here is the website we used to test ourselves....
